Scope

WordPress Developer / Frontend Developer

Americold needed a professional and scalable corporate website to present its cold chain solutions, global facilities, industry expertise, regional network, news, careers, and investor-related pathways. Because of the size and structure of the website, the frontend needed to stay consistent, responsive, and aligned with the company’s brand presentation.

I worked with the website through WP Engine hosting and used Oxygen Builder to manage and update page layouts. Oxygen Builder provided more control over the frontend structure, while custom CSS was used to refine styling, spacing, responsiveness, and layout behavior across different sections of the site.

The website includes a large navigation system with multiple business areas, including cold supply chain, technology and automation, transportation, value-added services, facilities, global regions, news, careers, and contact sections. My work helped support the frontend presentation of these areas while keeping the design consistent across desktop, tablet, and mobile views.

A key part of the work involved using custom CSS to adjust visual details that could not be handled cleanly through builder settings alone. This helped improve the look, spacing, alignment, and responsive behavior of different website components while maintaining the existing design system.

The final result is a polished corporate WordPress website supported through WP Engine, Oxygen Builder, and custom CSS, with a frontend structure suited for a large enterprise brand.
