Business

Built a WordPress website for Bacon on a Stick using Bricks Builder, ACF, and a custom Bricks admin dashboard plugin developed for Tolle Web Design. The project focused on creating an easy-to-manage food brand website where all key content could be mapped through ACF and edited in a more structured backend workflow.

Scope

WordPress Developer / Bricks Builder Developer

Bacon on a Stick needed a simple, fun, and easy-to-update website that could showcase its food concept, classic flavors, brand story, event presence, private party offering, gallery, and contact information. The website had to feel straightforward and visually engaging while keeping the backend manageable for future content updates.

I built the website using WordPress and Bricks Builder, creating a lightweight and flexible frontend structure for the brand. Unlike a standard page builder setup, this project also included work with a custom plugin I developed for Tolle Web Design: the Bricks Admin Dashboard. This helped improve the backend editing experience and gave the website a more organized admin workflow.

To make the content easier to manage, I used ACF to map the site’s key content fields. Sections such as the hero text, flavor descriptions, story content, food details, event information, gallery items, and contact details were structured through custom fields instead of being hardcoded directly into the page layout. This made the website easier to maintain and update without breaking the design.

The final result is a clean and editable WordPress website built with Bricks Builder, powered by ACF content mapping, and supported by a custom admin dashboard plugin workflow for Tolle Web Design.
